Get on the tao Nightclub guestlist
Tao Las Vegas is one of the strongest and longest performing clubs in Vegas and is an absolute staple of the nightlife scene. If you plan on checking out any nightclubs in Vegas, Tao should be on your list of stops. One of the first things you’ll notice upon approaching the venue are the almost nude models lounging in stone tubs along the entry way delicately covered in rose petals. As you walk through the restaurant to enter the club, you may be aware of the wide variety of ornate asian decorations, ornamental flowers, or fragrant nose tickling smells drifting from the kitchen. Ascend the staircase behind the bar to get into the main club and you’ll see where the real partying happens. Tao Nightclub has multiple rooms each uniquely designed and purposed all with their own staffed bar for easy access to drinks which is a nice feature during the ladies free drinks from 10:30-11:30. There is a centrally located dance floor surrounded by tables and directly in front of the DJ booth. And if you ever need a break from the beats or just want some fresh air, there is cozy balcony that overlooks the gondolas and offers another great view of the strip.
When to use Guestlist or get a VIP Table
There are some cool benefits for using the guestlist and purchasing a table. It’s sort’ve dependent on your situation that night to see what works better for you. The guest list gets you free entry into the club and wristbands for the ladies free open bar from 10:30-11:30. One caveat to using the guestlist is that you have to show up before 112:30am to get into the club. If you’re purchasing a table, it doesn’t really matter when you show up.
When to use guestlist- If you just want access into the club and want to take advantage of the free ladies open bar, use the guestlist. Guestlist for Tao only works for ladies and even ratio groups (meaning every man enters the club with at least one woman) Free entry is subject to club capacity meaning if it’s an unusually big DJ or event, show up early to make sure you can get into the nightclub free.
When to purchase a VIP table- If it’s a special occasion or if you have all guys in your group, it’s a good idea to purchase a table. If your group is all men, guestist won’t work and you’ll either have to pay cover which starts at $35-$55 a piece, or buy a table which starts at $600 for 6 people. If you and your crew plan on partying and drinking, buying a table is not only economical but objectively a better way to spend your night. With the purchase of your table you’ll order from the menu bottle, mixers, waters, and even have a cocktail waitress, busser, and security guard to make sure your night goes well.
TaoNightclub dress code
Tao Las Vegas is like most other clubs in Vegas and has a relatively strict dress code. If you’re not sure what to wear, it’s always appropriate to dress up. That fancy new years dress that you never get to wear except for the holidays, perfect. That tuxedo that makes you feel like you came out of a James Bond movie, also a good choice. If you don’t plan on getting super fancy, heres a few guidelines to make sure your night goes as smooth as possible.
Men should wear a collared, button down shirt, or a blazer. Things like hoodies, tee-shirts, jerseys, etc., are not allowed. Anything that could be considered sportswear is typically not allowed. Hats and sunglasses are also typically not permitted in the nightclub. Slacks or nice jeans are a good choice for pants along with dress shoes or business casual footwear. When in doubt, it’s always recommended to dress up.
Ladies have it much easier in Las Vegas. They can get away with practically anything as long as it’s cute. Still, however, athletic shoes and sandals are typically not allowed. Shorts and torn jeans may also be questionable. From women, a cute dress and heels is always a safe bet.
If you happen to be in Las Vegas during the winter months, you’ll probably be bringing a coat or jacket. Most Vegas clubs don’t allow outerwear like jackets and coats into the club so be prepared to check it at the coat check. Usually the cost is around $5 and is cash only so be prepared. If the nightclub you’re at allows you to bring in your coat, it’s important to note that the club can get super hot especially if you’re dancing. If you don’t want to carry your coat around or set it down and risk getting it stolen, $5 is a small price to pay.
How to get to Tao Nightclub
Tao is located in the Venetian Hotel and Casino at 3355 S. Las Vegas Blvd. in the Grand Canale Shoppes where the Venetian touches the strip. If you’re walking to Tao Nightclub and are entering from the strip, come through the double doors of the Venetian and head up the escalators. If you’re coming from self park, take the elevators to the 3rd floor/casino level. As you exit the elevators you will stay left and stay on the second floor which will eventually get you to Tao. One thing that’s great about Tao is the free parking in the self park structure. If you’re driving yourself this is pretty clutch. It’s a good idea usually to show up early to avoid long lines and expedite entry. The club opens at 10:30 and the guest list closes at 12:30 so you should aim to be through the door before then.
